How Much Will Service Cost?
This is usually the first question we are asked--often after a fairly lengthy explanation of a problem or requirement. Unfortunately, there usually is no easy answer until we have a had a chance to investigate first hand. This is because we typically have no idea which system parts, if any, we may need, or how severe the software problem may be and how long the solution may require. Many times, a panicked client's explanation of a problem turns out not to be completely accurate and sometimes not even close to an adequate description of what happened. If we know you and have worked with your equipment and systems in the past, we have a better shot at providing an accurate and immediate answer to this question. Regardless of the circumstance, after we investigate, we will make a concerted effort to provide you with an accurate estimate of your costs before we start the job. Our basic hourly rate is $100.00 with a one hour minimum per on-site service call plus a trip charge of $45.00. Under some circumstances, we may complete certain projects for a quoted flat rate. Beware of service companies that advertise flat rate services as the final invoice is often much larger than quoted and may include unanticipated add-on charges.
How Fast Can We Complete The Job?
If we have a relationship with you or your company, we can frequently solve your problem on the same day you report it. Otherwise, we make every effort to work with you inside a mutually acceptable time frame. If you are a potential new client seeking our advice/help with repurposing existing systems or designing new ones, our time frame will depend on the complexity of the challenge at hand and is open for discussion based on your requirements and budget.
How Experienced Are Our Techs?
No one who we send out for technical service calls has less than ten years of actual field experience in the type of environments and equipment which we service/sell/design/install/build. If we are not comfortable or experienced with your systems or problem, we will refer you to someone who is.
